Tewkesbury Abbey

The abbey is a must see. One of the largest parish churches in the UK and a fine example of Norman architecture and construction. It is the burial place of the Prince of Wales killed at the battle of Tewkesbury that ended the war of the roses. We had a warm welcome from the volunteers that staff the church. Read more.
