smallBMS with pre-alarm
The smallBMS can replace the VE.Bus BMS V2 in several applications. It is however not suitable for use with VE.Bus MultiPlus and Quattro inverter/chargers: it has no VE.Bus interface. The smallBMS is intended for use with Victron Smart LiFePo4 batteries with M8 circular connectors. The smallBMS has two outputs, similar to the VE.Bus BMS V2.

Calibrating BMS with multiplus
Disconnect calibrated battery. Run multiplus in inverter only mode until it cuts out from flat battery (I assume the BMS will disconnect the battery once depleted). Switch multiplus to charge only and charge until BMS cuts the charge current. This will take some time due to battery size. Optionally and preferably repeat for ''calibrated'' battery.

Das Pace-BMS ist ja in zahlreichen Akkus verbaut und das Display ist identisch mit meinem. Warum die bei Siga ausgerechnet den CAN-Port weggelassen haben muss man ja nicht verstehen. Natürlich ist damit nicht geklärt ob sich an den verwendeten Ladeleistungen etwas ändert aber mir wären es 16€ für einen Test wert.

Batterie mit int. BMS
Mit Akkus die wohl ein Pylontech BMS haben, aber 16 Zellen haben. Da wurde vom Victron System dann ein spezielles Pylontech Profil geladen und die Akkus wurden nicht richtig geladen. Wenn der Hersteller seinen Akku richtig in Verbindung mit Victron getestet hätte, hätte das auffallen müssen. Danke für die Antwort.

Denver, Co. Dec 29, 2023. #8. I had a heck of a time trying to communicate with my Sungold Batteries that us the Pace BMS. There are a bunch of rj-11 rs232 cables that won''t work. The one (s) I found that worked were from Sungold and from Current Connected (2-part cable) for an SOK battery that used the Pace BMS.
