Seychelles plans first floating solar PV plant in Africa
The floating solar PV plant in Africa will be located in the Lagoon le Rocher, a shallow body of water separated from the sea by the Providence Industrial Estate, on Mahé Island. The tender will be implemented by the Seychelles Energy Commission (SEC), with the Public Utility Corporation (PUC) as the eventual off-taker of the project.
