Electricity generation of hybrid PV/wind systems in Iraq
In Iraq, solar and wind energy systems are most promising for reducing power demand on the national grid. In the study, a proposed 2.7 MW hybrid PV/wind system for 10 MWhr daily power demand was simulated for three selected cities. The proposed system was found to have a 6 MWhr daily average PV energy for the three cities.
